Five Easy Steps to Join Dance Fest!

Step 1: Register!

Registration closes February 13, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Step 2: Film yourself dancing!

Film yourself and/or your partner dancing and upload your videos between February 13, 2021 and February 21, 2021. All video submissions are due by February 21, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Competitors will be provided with a list of suggested music. You are not required to dance to these songs, but we think they’re pretty fun and our DJ made sure they have accurate tempos.

Record each dance as a separate video and upload your videos to YouTube. Each dance will need to be uploaded as a separate video. You can record your dancing as many times as you like, so upload your favorite version for the judges to score. After uploading, please ensure video permissions are set to "unlisted" or "public" so the judges can view your dancing.

Complete the Video Upload Competitor Entry Form to upload your video for our judges. Be sure that the registration information in the form is accurate.

Step 3: Judges watch your videos!

Our experienced ballroom dance professionals will score your dancing based on dance principles, like musicality, technique, and overall presentation, representative of each proficiency level. You can think of this similar to a grading scale at school, where a score of 70 is "average".

Step 4: Receive your scores!

Results will be available online on March 6, 2021. Compare your scores to see where you rank among your competitors!

Step 5: Free. Seminars. All. Day. Long.

Join us for hours of FREE Zoom seminars on March 6, 2021! No registration required. See what the judges saw. Ask questions through chat. Brush up on your technique with ballroom friends! Q&A participation encouraged through chat.
